we’re Aitana & Sarah, the fire under The Little Cooking Pot.
We’ve trained in kitchens around the world, with the incredible local people we’ve met on our many adventures.
Starting from different corners of the globe, we came together, in our favourite place, around the kitchen table. It’s here, at sombremesa, where we believe the magic happens: when time stops, and all you need is good people and good food. That’s why we started doing what we do.
We run our business, like we live our lives, true to our beliefs. Seasonally & locally sourced, making as little negative impact on the planet as possible and always excited to find ways to do this better.
Our food reflects our perpetual itchy feet and curiosity for the world, and we hope to whisk you away with us.
We specialise in vegan & vegetarian food created to satisfy carnivores and herbivores alike. Our food will knock the socks and sandals off any ideas of vegetables being bland and unsatisfying, but don't take our word for it... come and try it for yourself.
